Major Ingredients of Afro Botanicals Matcha Tea Soap

Matcha is a very powerful herb, with *137 times more antioxidants than regular green tea. Matcha has been shown to have *anti-inflammatory properties, which may be beneficial for skin. It also has a comparatively *high concentration of Vitamin C, which *supports the stimulation of collagen in the skin. This may contribute to anti-aging effects.

Shea Butter has been used in Africa for thousands of years. Shea butter is very rich in fat and has been shown to have *antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Bergamot is a type of citrus fruit. A study involving bergamot essential oil suggests that it may have *beneficial effects for melanocytes, which are the melanin-producing cells in our skin.
